How to buy ferry tickets
You can buy ferry tickets online (and this is the most convenient way - especially in high season, when the queue at the ticket office can compete with the queue at the Vatican Museum 😄), at the ticket offices in the port,
and also directly on board - but only for cash!
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online , especially from June to October, to avoid wasting time in lines and to get the best window seats.
🔹 The summer schedule is valid from June 16 to October 5 - you can see it right here .
🔹 What types of tickets are there:
- regular one-time,
– day passes (for the whole day),
- tickets with luggage or bicycle transportation,
– and also on a cargo ferry with a car!
Yes, you can cross the lake with your car – especially convenient if you are planning trips on both sides of the lake.
🔹 Average ticket price: from 3 to 15 euros, depending on the route.
💡 Fun fact: Lake Como still has ferries that are almost a century old - some of them have been operating since the 1920s and are still as reliable as an Italian espresso!
